STABILITY IS THE KEY

A strong stabilized body is defined by the appropriate relationship between body parts, and body parts to the environment.

When knowledge, care, understanding and focus is combined, Pilates classes become meditative, energizing and addictive! Many high end athletes and certainly dancers use this form of exercise to condition both their bodies and minds to prepare them for the movements they must achieve during performance.

All Pilates exercises are designed to be progressive and adaptive to the strength of the individual using them. Adding weights, flex bands, fit balls or circles adds variety and extra challenge to each exercise. As stability through the body is achieved, the joints and muscles strengthen giving the body greater freedom of movement without discomfort or injury.
